PG & E’s Energy Upgrade California Rebate Program
Harney Home Performance is a participating contractor in the Energy Upgrade California program that awards up to $4000 in rebates for home energy upgrades. Incentives are available to PG & E customers who complete energy-saving home improvement projects that result in a 20% reduction in energy consumption in their homes.

Federal Tax Credits
Federal Tax Credits up to $500* are available for improving your home’s energy efficiency through basic measures that improve your home’s insulation, and major systems such as heating, cooling and water heating.

*Limited to one household; ineligible if you have claimed more than $500 in 25C tax credits since 2005; expires December 31, 2011.

Additionally, adding a renewable energy source to your efficient home allows you to take full advantage of more incentives for solar and wind power.  Such tax credits cover solar photovoltaics (solar PV systems), solar water heating, onsite small wind and geothermal heat pumps.
